Went here for my 24th wedding anniversary so wasn't really in the mood for celebrating. However, great food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff fairly lifted my spirits. Not sure about the wife, though. I left her outside locked in the car.
We have dined here a few times and love it here, staff are very attentive and the food is phenomenal, it all tastes home made, fresh and well presented. The atmosphere is very welcoming and warmly!! We've also had a pre-ordered take away and they did not disappoint!! We were very pleased with the food and will return again very soon. It's not very ideal to get to if you don't have a car.
I love eating here, with friends, family, anybody! The food never disappoints. It’s great value for money too and so homely. Always warm relaxing environment,
Brilliant the staff were amazing it was my grandson's 16th and we had 1 grandchild who is lactose/ dairy intolerant and they went out there way to accommodate her. We had an amazing night thanks to Karen and her crewe of waitresses. Xx
Our group of 13 visited at the end of June . All staff friendly food portions excellent, choices varied to suit all tastes. Prices for food and drink excellent. Nice ambient atmosphere. Relaxed enjoyable visit. Pleasant seating lounge area gor a pre dinner drink or post dinner coffee. Need to try their high tea menu which looks delicious and their Sunday Carvery which is very popular.No blaring TV with Sport which was a plus.

I went here with family for a funeral.there was nothing we could eat because it was sandwiches etc.Not good really.we had a plate of soup before the funeral so that was just as well.my Brother & I are Coeliac so we can't eat anything with gluten in it.the food looked lovely.
Attended a funeral tea asked for hot water for my herbal tea got it no probs staff were brill
